Daily VPN price history

The next dataset will record the displayed prices and plan terms of major VPN providers once per day. The first public release is planned around Black Friday, after the field definitions and quality checks have been tested on ordinary pricing days.

  • Capture timestamp, market, currency, plan length, total price, and renewal terms.
  • Keep source URLs and evidence for each observation.
  • Publish missing or ambiguous values as explicit states instead of filling gaps.
  • Freeze dated releases so later provider changes do not rewrite the record.

For journalists

Ask for data or comment

Media enquiries can ask for the underlying data, a method explanation, or a short attributed comment. Include the publication, deadline, question, and whether you need a specific market or date range.
